Welcome to Intergiro Merchant Monitor!
As a valued merchant, it's crucial to have a clear understanding of the various transaction statuses you may encounter.
This guide is designed to help you navigate and interpret the different states your transactions may go through. By familiarizing yourself with these statuses, you can efficiently manage your transactions and provide better service to your customers.
Now, let's delve into the details of each transaction status:
Authorized
The funds were reserved but not taken from your customer account. It may appear as if the money has been deducted on the bank statement, but it's only reserved. If an authorized transaction is not cancelled or captured within a few days, it will be automatically cancelled (please note that this auto-cancellation won't update the status in our system).
Cancelled
The reservation on the customer's account was cancelled, and no funds are reserved anymore.
Captured/Auto-Captured
Captured: Money was taken from your customer's account. This status indicates that the transaction was first authorized and then captured in separate API calls.
Auto-Captured: Authorization and capture occurred in a single API call.
Refunded
The captured money has been refunded to your customer.
Settled
Intergiro paid you this money. It's important to note that captures and refunds need to be settled since they involve the movement of funds. Transactions that were only authorized or cancelled do not require settlement.
Red Labeled Statuses
Red labeled statuses indicate errors. If you encounter a red labeled status, it is advisable to review the specific error message associated with it and take appropriate action to resolve the issue.
