What is SEPA?

SEPA stands for Single Euro Payments Area.SEPA is a payment system used for transferring euros between accounts in:

  • EEA countries (European Economic Area)

  • EFTA countries (European Free Trade Association)

  • The United Kingdom

Where can I send SEPA transfers?

You can send and receive euro transfers to and from all SEPA-participating countries.

A full list of SEPA countries can be found on the European Payments Council website.

Why can't I send non-euro transfers?

If you have a SEPA-only account at Intergiro, you can only make payments in euros via SEPA.

Transfers in other currencies or to destinations outside the SEPA area are not available with a SEPA-only account.

Need to send other currencies?

To transfer money in currencies other than euro, you will need an account that supports multi-currency or SWIFT transfers.

Please contact Intergiro Support if you need assistance upgrading your account or want to learn more about available options.
