Intergiro offers a comprehensive Cards as a Service feature as part of our Banking as a Service (BaaS) offerings. To successfully acquire a Visa co-brand license, there are several essential requirements that businesses must meet to expedite the process and ensure compliance.
Key Requirements for Visa Co-brand Approval
You need to make sure you have the following details to send to your Implementation manager, who will submit the Visa Co-Brand application for your company:
Company Details: Full company name, address, and registration number.
Contact Details: Contact details of the main stakeholder in your company with whom our implementation manager can be in touch and the email address of your customer support team.
Legal Info: Legal info such as a link to your terms and conditions and your company's privacy policy.
GDPR Compliance: Ensure your terms and conditions incorporate Intergiro's GDPR requirements, which are outlined in the BaaS / White-Label order form provided by our legal team. This step is crucial for ensuring that your operations comply with EU privacy laws.
Cryptocurrency Services: If your business offers services related to digital currencies or cryptocurrencies and this is mentioned on your website, you need to prepare a detailed summary of these services and submit to your Implementation Manager. This is important because it requires the submission of Visa’s NBFI Form for Crypto Clients, which could extend the processing time of your application.
If cryptocurrencies are only planned for the future, it's advisable to avoid mentioning them publicly until they are actively offered.
(Ask your Implementation Manager to complete the NBFI/ PIF form on your behalf)
Virtual Card Design: Adhere to specific guidelines for virtual card design. Your graphic designers should ensure that the design meets Visa’s standards, which includes not displaying sensitive card information and maintaining brand consistency. You can check the guidelines for the design here.
Target Audience: Clearly define your target audience, including the main country you intend to focus on initially. This helps in tailoring the card program to meet the needs of your specific customer base.
Card Types: Intergiro primarily offers debit cards. Make sure that your promotions or website do not incorrectly mention credit cards or prepaid cards. Additionally, avoid listing any services that Intergiro does not support, such as deposit checks.
Additional Providers: If you are partnering with other providers apart from Intergiro who offer additional services such as credit cards or crypto, make sure to detail this in your application.

Next Steps
When all requirements are met, please submit this form.
Our implementation team will address you with questions if needed and will keep you updated on the application status.
Once your Visa Co-brand program is approved, it will lead us to the next step of your implementation process: production of physical cards.
Important: It is recommended to start both the Visa co-brand application and the physical card design at the same time as both can take time; however, the physical card order is dependent on the visa approval.
