How do I prepare my card design files?

A comprehensive guide on file and design specifications for creating virtual and physical card designs that meet approval standards.

Before starting your BaaS implementation, you'll need to prepare your card design files. Here's what you need to know:

Virtual Card Requirements

For displaying cards in Intergiro's UI and digital wallets:

  • Card Art for UI Display:

    • Format: SVG

    • Size: 506 x 320 pixels (or ratio of ~1.58)

    • Design must not include borders, cardholder data, PAN, or expiry date

    • Maximum file size: 4MB

  • Card Art for Digital Wallets:

    • Format: PNG

    • Size: 1536 x 969 pixels

    • File name format: D-[Issuer Name]-[Filename].png

    • Color: RGB, 16+ bit depth, non-interlaced

Design Guidelines

When creating your virtual card design:

  • Create a design that looks like a real card but is optimized for screens

  • You may include the contactless symbol

  • Do not include:

    • Cardholder name

    • Card number (PAN)

    • BIN

    • Expiry date

    • EMV chip images

    • Embossed text

    • Holograms

Prohibited Content

Your card design must not contain:

  • Offensive, sexual, political, or religious content

  • Copyrighted images or logos without permission

  • References to drugs, alcohol, weapons, or violence

  • URLs, phone numbers, or advertisements

  • Images of money or coins

Physical Card Requirements

For physical cards, you'll need:

  • Card design files following Tag Systems specifications

  • Carrier design (A4 paper or Burgopak format)

  • Complete artwork setup files
