How can I close my account?

Follow these steps to close your Intergiro account or delete your data securely, even if you’ve lost access.

Before contacting support:

  1. Director request: Only an Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) or director can request the closure of the business account. This ensures that the request is authorized and valid.

  2. Empty your account: Please ensure your account balance is zero before closure. Transfer any remaining funds to an external account. Make sure all outstanding fees are paid.

  3. Download your statements: Extract any account statements or records you may need for your files before the account is closed. If you need help or cannot download them yourself, our support team can assist you.


To close your account, please reach out to our customer support team:

Tip: When contacting support for account closure:

  • Select "I have a question"

  • Go to "Account details & Settings"

  • Press the option "Close my account"

  • In case additional information is needed, our customer support team will reach out to let you know.

Wait for confirmation:

  • Our support team will confirm the termination

  • They can also assist in case there was a positive account balance at the time of closure.

  • Upon request, we can provide an official account termination letter for your records.

Deleting Your Data:

  • Intergiro is obliged to retain your personal data for at least five years after account closure, as required by law.

  • Data held in the mobile app (e.g., preferences and biometric settings) can be deleted any time:

  1. Sign in to the mobile app.

  2. Go to the "More" tab.

  3. Select "Security and Data"

  4. Go to "Personal Data Management" and tap "Delete Personal Data"

Once your account is closed:

  • You will no longer have access to the Business Account.

  • All future transactions will be halted.

  • Ensure all recurring payments or direct debits are cancelled or redirected as necessary.
