Managing the security of your Intergiro card involves several important features that allow you to control access and usage. Here’s how you can ensure your card’s safety and manage its settings effectively.
Freezing and Blocking Your Card
How to Freeze or Block: Navigate to the “Cards” section in your Customer Portal, select the specific card, and you will find options to either freeze or block the card.
Freezing a Card: Freezing your card temporarily disables it, which is useful if you believe you've misplaced it but are not sure. You can unfreeze it once you find it.
Blocking a Card: Blocking your card is a permanent action and should be used if you believe the card is stolen or irrecoverably lost.
Card Usage Permissions
Cardholder Usage Only: For security reasons, only the designated cardholder should use the card. Do not share your card with others, as this could compromise your account security.
Viewing Card Details
Privacy of Card Details: Only you, as the cardholder, have the ability to view your card details. This is to protect your personal information and prevent unauthorized use.
Locking Your Card in the Mobile App
Mobile App Features: To lock your card, access the “Cards” tab in the mobile app, select the card, and then use the “block” or “freeze” function. This can be done instantly and provides immediate protection for your account.
Actions If Your Card Is Compromised
Immediate Response: If your card has been compromised, lost, or stolen, immediately block the card through the Customer Portal to prevent any unauthorized transactions.
Managing Your PIN
Changing Your PIN: You can change your PIN via the Customer Portal under the “Cards” section. You can also easily update your PIN using our mobile app. Simply navigate to the designated section for card management, and you'll find the option to make the change.
Please note that changing your PIN directly at ATMs is not an available feature at this time.If Blocked: Remember, once a card is blocked, it cannot be unblocked. A new card must be issued.
