Not Receiving an SMS When Confirming Your Card Transaction?
If you are not getting an SMS to verify your card transaction, please follow these steps:
Troubleshooting Steps
Restart Your Device
Switch your mobile device off, then on again. This can refresh your connection and resolve minor network issues.
Check Your Mobile Signal
Ensure you have a stable mobile network connection. Poor signal can delay or prevent SMS delivery.
Travelling or Roaming?
SMS delivery while roaming is not guaranteed. If you are abroad, message delivery may be impacted.
Alternative Method: Use Biometrics
You can confirm your card transactions using the biometric authentication (such as fingerprint or face recognition) in the Intergiro app.
To enable biometrics, navigate to: More → Mastercard Identity Check → Enable “Use 3D Secure 2.0 on this device”
For some regions or phone numbers (e.g., Russian numbers), biometrics may be the only option available to confirm card transactions.
For Bank Transfers
Trusted Beneficiaries: For repeated transfers, you may not require an SMS for future transfers to the same recipient. Learn more!
NOTE: For new bank transfers, only SMS verification is available.
